GastroMed Covid-19 Update

GastroMed is committed to caring for our patients while taking steps to mitigate the spread of the coronavirus by minimizing exposure to our patients and staff members.

  • Call to reschedule your appointment if you have a fever, cough and/or difficulty breathing or if any member of your household is experiencing these symptoms.

  • Call to reschedule if you or a member of your household has returned from travel to a known high-risk area.

  • Do not bring your entire family to your appointment. With schools cancelled across the state, it may be difficult, but to avoid unnecessary social interactions, please try to come to your appointment alone if possible or with only one family member or visitor.

  • In the waiting room, please try to sit at least six (6) feet from other patients.

  • Please follow all CDC guidelines on hand washing and personal hygiene including not touching your face, eyes, nose and mouth, covering your nose and mouth if your cough or sneeze, not shaking hands and staying home if you are sick.

  • We are now offering a Telemedicine appointment option to reduce exposure. Simply call us to schedule this type of appointment.
