Dr. Nemencio Ronquillo Jr. is a board-certified anatomic and clinical pathologist with subspecialty expertise in gastrointestinal and liver pathology. He earned his medical degree from the University of the Philippines Manila, completed his anatomic and clinical pathology residency at the University of Illinois Chicago, and pursued fellowship training in Surgical Pathology at MD Anderson Cancer Center and Gastrointestinal and Liver Pathology at the University of California San Diego. He joined the faculty at University of Louisville Hospital in 2017 and at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital in 2020, where he served as a Clinical Assistant Professor and Associate Program Director of the Gastrointestinal Pathology Fellowship Training Program and contributed to the training of gastrointestinal and liver pathology fellows. He has authored peer-reviewed publications and delivered invited lectures nationally and internationally.
