Dr. England began his medical training at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and graduated in 2013 as one of the top students in his class. He completed his Anatomical and Clinical Pathology residency at Massachusetts General Hospital in 2017, where he worked and trained with many experts in their respective fields.

Dr. England then pursued a fellowship in GI pathology at Massachusetts General Hospital, which he completed in 2018, before moving back to South Florida, where he was born and raised.

Dr. England began his career back at the University of Miami as a gastrointestinal pathologist and associate residency program director in the Department of Pathology in 2018. At the same time, he also worked with the Medical Education Department to help redesign and co-direct the pre-clinical portion of the new NextGenMD curriculum.

After several years at the University, Dr. England took his expertise to GastroMed in 2024, where he serves as the Medical Director of the pathology laboratory. He still bleeds orange and green, and is an avid fan of the Hurricanes!

Dr. England has been very happy to join the GastroMed team, and very much enjoys collaborating with the doctors and staff to offer the highest quality in diagnosis and management to the patients. He prides himself on precision, and is happy to be part of the team.

During his free time, Dr. England enjoys reading and keeping up with the latest medical news and journals, watching all sports (especially the Canes!), and spending time with his wife and two daughters.
