Dr. Christian M. Andrade is a board-certified physician in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology, practicing since 2015 in GastroMED, where he also serves as Vice President. He provides comprehensive care for gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary conditions, integrating advanced endoscopic expertise with a thoughtful, patient-centered approach. He earned his medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, and completed his Gastroenterology fellowship at the University of South Florida with a focus on complex digestive disorders and therapeutic endoscopy.

Dr. Andrade performs advanced procedures including Endoscopic Mucosal Resection (EMR), Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), and Single Balloon Enteroscopy for small bowel pathology. His clinical interests include liver, biliary, and pancreatic diseases, colorectal cancer prevention, advanced polyp management, and gastrointestinal motility disorders, including disorders of gut-brain interaction.

He also interprets esophageal and anorectal manometry studies and is actively involved in clinical research as a Principal Investigator in Phase II and III trials, focusing on colonoscopy-based screening, MASH/fatty liver disease, inflammatory bowel disease, and emerging obesity therapies.
