Carlos R. Diaz, MD, is a double board-certified gastroenterologist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of digestive diseases, including disorders of the liver, pancreas, esophagus, stomach, small intestine, and colon. He has a particular interest in treating inflammatory bowel disease, including Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.

 Dr. Diaz earned his medical degree from Rush University and completed both his Internal Medicine residency and Gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital, where he served as Chief Resident and later Chief Fellow. In addition to providing comprehensive outpatient gastrointestinal care, he performs diagnostic and therapeutic upper endoscopy and colonoscopy.
